Seems like there’s been a lot of “Dubya” talk lately. Or even just today.
Today my mom met me for lunch (she’s off from work on Fridays, dirty bitch), and the topic of Dubya somehow came up (how could it not, I guess). She informed me that she actually wanted to walk out of the church service on Sunday because the Pastor (of the church I attended from age 14-18–plus on various holidays since then) said that the reason so many people hate George W. Bush is because “he is a Christian and he prays.” What. the. FUCK. I mean seriously. Did those words just come out of your mouth? Because that is possibly the stupidest thing I’ve heard someone say in a LONG time. Who ARE these people, and what kind of freaking dream world are they LIVING in? Oh cry me a freaking river, you upper middle class Christians who are CLEARLY so downtrodden and ostracized and publicly SCORNED for your religious beliefs. Umm…NO. No, you’re not. Remember? Oh…THAT’S right. I’m not in the minority… God, sometimes I just wish people would get some kind of wake-up call that other people in the world exist besides them.
Wake the fuck up, you moron. I need a shirt that says that. I could wear it if I still lived in New York. People would laugh. Not so much here. People would either give me menacing looks of disgust or they’d pray for me.
And we CERtainly don’t want that.
Man, I’m mad. Just needed to rant, sorry.
AND CUT. It’s now 4:58, so if you’ll excuse me while I shutdown my computer and get the fuck OUTTA here for the about-damned-time weekend that has now arrived.

Besides, there are so many more GOOD reasons to hate Bush…
It is E A R L Y. We’re going riding today and the drive is long and I’m not really awake yet. He’s making breakfast and the smell is making me sick because I don’t EAT breakfast but I know I’ll be hungry later so I suppose I shall endure.

i just got in–spent most of yesterday with my family after rehearsal and ended up staying the night at my bro’s house–i never get any sleep when i stay at other people’s houses, so i usually try not to, but i was just TOO tired to drive the hour home. ah well.
