no, i’m not pregnant.  =)  at least not as far as i know.  please god.  anyway.

well, i left work at 10:40 yesterday morning and headed downtown for my appointment.  last time i was there, back in december, the place was FULL of pregnant women, and it took absolutely forEVER to get in to the doctor.  yesterday the waiting room was quite empty.  i didn’t have to wait too long, they called me back, weighed me, took blood pressure, asked all those preliminary questions, etc.  then i got all set-up, in my gown, on the table, waiting.  i was reading my book to try to ease the nervous tension, but it wasn’t really working.  freaking gyno.  anyway, the nurse finally came back in and said, “the doctor had to leave to go deliver a baby.”  heh heh.  heh.

after calling my office, i decided to waste time and come back at 1:30/2:00 when the doctor would be back.  quick delivery, way to go baby.  so i met C for lunch, which was way cool, to see him during the day for once.  i went back to my appointment (2nd one) at 2:00, had the easiest, least painful exam i’ve ever had, and then had to have something cut off for a biopsy. whoo!  good times!  it’s most likely nothing, but she said we might as well know exactly what it is.  so that wasn’t the most fun i’ve had, but hey.  it could’ve been worse.  much, much worse.  needless to say, i didn’t get back to the office till around 3:20.  so basically i got a half day off for the gyno.  good times.  or something.  but at least she gave me 2 free nuvarings (birth control that i highly recommend).  totally saved me $80 bucks!  nice.

anyway.  that’s about all, really.  i have so much crap to do at work, of course.  yuck.  BUT, i AM taking tomorrow off to go observe at my sister’s school, which i already mentioned, but here it is again.  in case you forgot in the last 2 days.

too bad i’m not taking the day off and going to the beach or something.  or better yet, sleeping ALL DAY.  oh well.  being productive and trying to plan my future is good, right?

guess what song just came on. “lost in a dream…i don’t know just which way to go.”  YEAH, paula abdul!

well, i better do some stuff.  sigh.  i need some coffee.
