yep. ahem. yeah, don’t really have anything much to talk about, really. oh. well, i did go to new york since i last wrote, so i guess i could talk about that.

here it is in a nutshell:

1) ate lots of organic food at organic restaurants (my #1 pick is Shake Shack at Madison Square Park–organic burgers & shakes, oh my!)
2) went to the deposition and said a lot of “i don’t recall,” “i don’t remember,” and “i honestly don’t remember, since it was 3 years ago, what day of the week it was or what the weather was likes, but thankyouverymuch for asking.”
3) ate at Parkside in Queens! (dear God, help me, they make the best Italian food.)
4) spent WAY too much money (especially in Chinatown).
5) saw Spamalot and Moon for the Misbegotten (again, spent way too much money, but the latter was a student ticket and ended up being front row center–kevin spacey was sweating and spitting all over us!).
6) took a long trek back to the newark airport via public transportation and found it was way better than spending 2 hours in the back of a cab, inching thru the lincoln tunnel.
7) plane was delayed a couple hours due to “bad weather” in dallas. (dallas being the same city that shuts down all places of business when it gets “icy” on the roads.)

so there you have it. quick and painless. i hope those people don’t get any money from the insurance company for their “injuries” since they weren’t hurt at all. it was my car (technically bestfriendk’s car) that was totalled beyond repair, it was me who the paramedics said should be dead or at the very least have my legs broken. so you can see why i am mad that these people are suing. no, the money won’t come from me–i don’t have any money. but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t bother me that the insurance company is getting screwed. no one deserves to be screwed. where do these dishonest people come from? it must be the same kind of people that made me hate people when i waited tables. the bad kind.

in happier news, i have an interview wednesday with the school where i student taught. please hire me! i want to work for you! i am smart, i am genius, i am your next teacher of the year! now hire me, dammit!

  1. Hi! Missin’ you! Wish you were available for browsin’ blogs more so I don’t look like a total loser without commentary. Oh well — all sappy CRAP anyway. Sap-o-Rama over heeyar.

I’m on an Amelia Earhardt kick lately — four books into the mystery in fact. If you’re hurtin’ for reading, let me know!

    LOVE!

  2. I haven’t heard of Lost Room, but I added to my Netflix queue to check it out. Sorry I didn’t reply sooner, I have been neglecting Plop Blog and am seriously considering not renewing another year because of that neglect. Maybe taking a break from it for a few months and see what happens. — Ploppy.
