i hate my job. i have been so unbelievably miserable since we came back from Christmas break. seriously–i am a huge bitch all the time. i don’t think the wedding planning is helping. it’s hard to imagine what a pain this wedding stuff can be–i never knew it would be like this–and i even had a recently married friend WARN me. elope people–i am telling you to elope. C has been on the phone with his “like a girl talktative” friend for a VERY long time now. this is one of his downfalls: he’s too nice. he can never hurt anyone’s feelings. i mean good lord, just say you have to go. but no, he just listens and listens and listens to this guy talk (all he ever says is ‘yeah, yeah’) and then complains about it afterward. heh.
i must say, he has been a freaking angel through all this wedding crap thus far. he’s done a LOT of talking on the phone to vendors, dealing with caterers, reception sites, and now he’s searching for a honeymoon for us. i am all weddinged out right now. we did, however, pick out cakes the other day. it’s one of the few things that is officially “checked off” the list and done. paid for and everything.
LOL–transcription of C’s conversation right now:
“Huhn…yeah…wow…hmm……………no……..right…..yeah, well, man, that’s not bad…”
good lord.
The lectures I gave today:
1) The “You don’t question everything I say; you just say ‘Yes Ma’am” lecture.
2) The “You’re acting like whiny 6 year-olds” lecture.
3) The “I don’t come to school everyday for my health–I come to teach you” lecture.
4) The “There is no excuse for you not to have those 8 questions answered after an hour” lecture.
Is it just me, or is the pollen OUT OF CONTROL around here? i am so freakin sick lately. my throat, that is.
Does it weird out anyone else that Federico from Six Feet Under is now on Ugly Betty? Weird.
Oh, speaking of, C got me the Six Feet Under boxed set for Christmas. GOD BLESS AMERICA–Best show ever.
Gotta go back to reality now and grade papers. Effing papers. Always with the effing papers to grade.
